CHOCOLATE: A DELIGHT TO RETAIN JOY OF YOUR LIFE.

“A day without chocolate is a day without sunshine.”

There are certain myths among the people about chocolate that it invigorates harm to us which is absolutely wrong in my opinion. Chocolate is my all time favourite food not just because of its irresistible taste which fascinates me all the time but because of it’s another aspect that is wide range of health benefits such as it is good for our heart and brain, the smell of chocolate slow down brain waves, protect us from cancer, it boost the appetite, reduce the risk of heart attack, it lowers blood pressure and not just helps us to digest food but also keeps us fresh, calm and reduces stress.

Teenagers thought that chocolate gives spots on their faces and blame chocolate for their acne. However scientifically it is not possible. Scientist researched on this myth for a week to observe after effects of eating chocolate but there were no harmful effect found on any student’s face, which proved that it is not harmful for skin.

It is also beneficial for old age people because it helps them to live longer. According to the research in Harvard University on 8000 men for  65 year of age,  in which who ate chocolate three times a month ,lived almost a year longer than those who did not eat chocolate.

Dark chocolate is more healthy than milk chocolate because it contains less sugar but most of the people do not like dark chocolate because of it’s bitter taste personally I also don’t like it and I mostly prefer milk chocolate which contains 1.2mg of iron, and 45mg of magnesium in 50 gram of a single chocolate bar and it is also a great source of calcium as well.

Karen Collins, nutrition advisor to the American Institute for Cancer Research said:

"We have a wide range of food—vegetable, fruits, whole grains, beans—that provides thousands of phytochemicals, and so our heart and our cancer health does not depend on eating chocolate. If you load up on chocolate for the phytochemicals, then that's going to send your weight up."

CHOCOLATE IS NOT FATTENING UNTIL YOU GOBBLE IT…
