PALATIAL PAKISTANI WEDDINGS..!!!!

Whenever we see happiness all around with joyous faces and girls with singing songs in course, than we can guess with surety that there must be a Pakistani wedding. This is one of the most favorite occasions for everyone to celebrate new journey of a couple.

The tremendous occasion starts with Mehndi cum Mayyon ceremony. Now a days, these two events, Mayyon and Mehndi that was previously celebrated separately but is being celebrated combine for the purpose to cut down cost for both of the families.

Relatives no matter, youngsters or adults, specially girls, dressed up themselves in yellow color. Mayyon is the most enjoyable event where the event is decorated with flowers completely and there is a sensational fragrance of flowers everywhere. Relatives of bride to be and groom to be come forward for Rasm-e-Hina, and showcase wedding dresses which is tradionally called “Bari”. After Rasam, all the relatives play with Ubtan as well.

There is another session of dance competition takes place between both of the families, these all are those moments which gives merriment to everyone present at the event. After the event, bride and groom are not allowed to meet each other till Nikah. It is the main ritual which is followed by every Pakistani Bride and Groom.

After Mayyon and Mehndi, the main event comes which is “Barat” (the wedding Day), a big day for bride and groom when they are about to in a relationship of a lifetime as husband and wife. In this event the main palatial moment is Nikah, which recites by Qazi. It is basically a documented proof for a couple to be a sole mate legally, which is mainly comprises on two witnesses and the important part of Nikah is “Mehar”. Mehar is basically for the protection of bride and to give her freedom. When the bride and groom says “Qubool hai” thrice and sign on the documents a legally called Husband and Wife.

After Nikah, family members of Groom distributes Date to everyone as a sweet of marriage. Rukhsati is also an interesting and sad part of any wedding, where bride’s parents depart their beloved daughter with tears and blessings to commence her new journey. There is another ritual of placing Quran on the head of Bride at the time of Rukhsati which is not right from Islamic point of view but some people are still doing it.

Last but not the least event of the Pakistani Wedding is Valima, it is the only event which is being considered as Sunnah which has allowed by or Prophet (P.B.U.H). It is basically reception from groom’s end to introduce a newly wed couple with groom’s relatives and friends. Valima is necessary in Islam to complete a wedding, without Valima, wedding is considered as incomplete occasion.

Another interesting thing which is not any kind of main event but it has been celebrated in most of the weddings in Pakistan is “Chauthi” which has came from the idea of fourth day of wedding, in which family members and cousins of bride go after Barat on Bride’s home and carry breakfast for the newly
wed couple with them and after breakfast they take bride with them.

It is important to note that some of the customs/rituals followed in Pakistani weddings have no existance in Islam. However, the Pakistani culture has adopted those customs and traditions from the Hindu culture and weddings.

Celebrating Diversity

As Holi and Nauroz has been celebrated in Pakistan on march 17 and 20 respectively, this is the ideal time to talk about diversity in the workplace.
The obvious visible signs of diversity in every organization are color, gender, age and physical ability. Just below the surface are national language and religion. if we go a little deeper  , we have individual values , qualifications and customs. Deeper still are the life experiences that shape people’s personality, paradigms, talents and values.
Diversity is a strong asset for a company and must be seen as a business issue. Research has proved that mixed groups are significantly more effective than homogeneous ones in making effective decision due to the wealth of experience , perspectives , attitudes and approaches they bring to the table. However, there is no denying that when you bring together people with different religious beliefs and cultures, or women in what is traditionally a man’s world , diversity can cause stress and strain .

The way to inclusion is to not attempt to minimize that tension. Instead, use it as a force for productivity and creativity. The goal should be to change the organizational culture , not the employees who already have relevant job skills.
Traditional organizations attempt to train coach and coerce diverse employees to ‘fit’ within the cultural mainstream, where as leading- edge organizations recognize the difference between equal treatment and treating everyone the same. They recognize and respect the different perspectives, talents and communication styles of diverse employees and focus on distinguishing style from substance, so that many style and approaches can be accommodated without sacrificing effectiveness within the organization.
As the organization moves away from the homogeneous ideal towards creating a more viable heterogeneous culture , traditions, practice and embedded biases that characterize the status quo are discarded to make room for ways of doing things.
This emphasis on culture change rather then individual change is what results in innovative ways of doing business.

YOUTH CAN BRING CHANGE IN PAKISTAN...!

I was thinking, that how we can change Pakistan in a positive way. What can the youth do for making Pakistan a safe homeland where equality can rule and injustice can be eradicate? I am such a person who always want to contribute in society in a positive change want to change so many things; but i could find any platform for that, I always wish that some day I could do anything for the people to want our help. I am not the only one who think in this way but I am damn sure that half of the youth want to do something which could bring change in our country and we have experience the passion of our youth in the time of earthquake and it is the best example of unity and patriotism for the country and its people.

Youth can bring change in the society if they were allowed to to something, but from where we should get started. Is there any platform for the youth to just get together for any cause and the answer is no. Unfortunately in Pakistan no such organization has been formed for the youth which could motivate our future generation in such positive way that can bring change in our society. There is no concept of services rendered by our youth because such activities are not being supported or praised. Most of the people are thinking that what we can do, but if want a change in the society so we have to come out and start working on any cause together without any discrimination.
In my point of view our youth is not lack in ideas of changing our society but proper guidance is not being provided to us. We should bringing change from our schools, colleges, and universities there should be a volunteer student organization in every school, college and university of Pakistan and they should be supported from our elders for the services they rendered for making a change. What the youth can do we could make a contributing in spreading education in slum areas; we could do some thing for children engaged in child labour. There are so many way through which we could bring change in society and in this way only Pakistan will be survived.

Youth ministry is there in Pakistan but without planning, even so many youth do not even aware of what actually youth ministry is. They can engage youth in every project so that we should be aware of our capabilities and achievement.

Pakistan media is booming and ruling on every person educating about every aspect of life but they are also doing nothing for youth. They could formed such platform in which they can hire the services of youth in highlighting and solving different problems of society and the result will definitely be good. Through this we could also control the rising violence among youngsters because of no work if the youth of Pakistan will be engaged in productive work so, it will bring change also and our society will be saved from further destruction.
-Thank you.

Life After Death ... Where Next?

“Death might be a sleep of unconsciousness, but it is only temporary. For those who trust in God to keep His promises, eternal life without death awaits.”

Every now and again we here the question, what is the meaning of life? Or what is the motive of life? Or ‘Why we are born?’ from a spiritual point of view the reasons are ‘To give and take account we have with various people’ and ‘To make spiritual progress with the final aim of merging into God’. But what happens after death?

Death is considered a certainty, to the point that you would fail to find any relevent person who would defy it. Death is a big mystery. It is subject that touches the life of every man and woman. Human beings are totally powerless to prevent or overcome death. Our mightiest efforts to defend ourselves from the grave, its ultimately result is failure. Everyone dies. The rich and the poor get the same end. The black and the white both go to the grave. The powerful and powerless both leave this place eventually.

“No one is promised tomorrow. The only thing we can count on is today”

So what, exactly, happens when we die? Heaven?  Hell?  Nothing? What will combat man after death? What will become of him in the grave? How will he rise again on the Day of Judgment? These all are those things, which we have not yet witnessed. But Allah has made all these things clear to us in detail through His Prophets (A.S) and lastly through Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W.W) and Allah has repeatedly gave references in the Holy Qur’an. So it is very important for the Muslims to believe in ALLAH and on the Day of Judgment.

The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W.) once said:

After our death windows will open up in the grave; for the pious people, windows open from heaven, and for the wicked people they open towards hell.”

Allah tells us that we won’t find ourselves being judged the very next day after we die. Instead, judgment will take place in such a distant future that our previous lives will seem like a matter of a few seconds to us. In short, man's doomsday is described as a change that he cannot interact with and an event that is as convincing as his existence here on earth. All these aspects have been explained in detail in the Holy Quran.

Almighty Allah states in the Holy Qur’an:

“I swear by the Day of Resurrection; and I swear by the self reproaching person (a believer. Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? Yes, we are able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. Nay! man denies resurrection and Reckoning. So he desires to continue committing sins.”

The grave is actually is a mid phase of existence between this life and the life to come. Here, spiritual life will progress slowly through many stages until it reaches its destiny.
